Annual International Microelectronics Olympiad

The Annual International Microelectronics Olympiad of Armenia is a competition initiated by Synopsys Inc. to support the development of the IT sector in Armenia and beyond. Aimed at engineers and students under 30, it promotes interest in microelectronics, recognizes young talent, informs curriculum development, and builds a global community of future experts.
The Microelectronics Olympiad is organized in two stages: In the first stage, students take a standardized 1-hour multiple choice test at their home universities. For the second stage, the best student out of all participating in Germany is sent to Synopsys Armenia. More information about the second stage can be found on the International Microelectronics Olympiad website.
The local round at KIT is organized by KIT Chipdesign House. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
