Tiny Tapeout Workshop

Ever wondered how a chip goes from concept to silicon?

In this beginner-friendly workshop, led by renowned semiconductor expert Matt Venn (creator of Tiny Tapeout), you'll learn how to design and manufacture your very own chip. If chip design has ever felt out of reach — this is the workshop that will show you a clear, hands-on path to success.

What You’ll Learn
  • Fundamentals of semiconductor design and fabrication
  • Basics of digital logic
  • How to build and simulate a simple digital circuit
  • How to generate GDS files for chip manufacturing
Your Design – Manufactured for Free!

Thanks to generous sponsorship by KCH, all participants will have their designs manufactured at no cost. After fabrication, physical chips and devkit PCBs will be delivered to KIT, where you’ll be able to test your design during a dedicated session (date to be announced).

Completely optionally, you can also order your own chip and devkit from the Tiny Tapeout store.
